Limited Capacity seats available

Participants will leave with sensory-based strategies implemented by Speech-Language Pathologists to help students make connections between letter symbols and the correct production of speech phonemes.  According to studies (Secord et al., 2007; McLeod & Singh, 2009; Jakielski, 2011) and programs (e.g. The Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program-LiPS Program), the use of various sensory modalities help develop phonemic awareness skills that are a base for accurate reading and spelling.
